YOUR GUIDES

Your Guides

Meet the teachers who hold space for your journey. At Mesa Yoga, we honor the wisdom that lives in all of us, and the gift of those who share it with heart and humility.

Each teacher brings their own path, voice, and lived insight into the space. Their styles may differ, but they are united by care, curiosity, and a shared devotion to growth, theirs and yours.

Our team is here to walk beside you, not ahead of you, as you connect with your body, your truth, your soul, and your rhythm.

I’m Vanessa, Founder of Mesa Yoga and one of its teachers. I was born in Puerto Rico and have lived in St. Moritz for over 12 years. My path with yoga began 25 years ago, but it was through healing from injury that I truly discovered its power—for
the body, the mind, and the soul.
I hold certifications in Yoga, Anatomy, Yoga Nidra, Yin, and Pre/Postnatal Yoga, as well as Sound Therapy. I’m also a Duke-certified Health Coach and plant-based nutritionist.
Presence, service, and creating meaningful experiences guide both my teaching and my life. I continue to learn every day—from practice, from students, and from the quiet wisdom of the path.
I look forward to welcoming you on the mat.

As it often happens, it was pain that first led me to yoga. I’m passionate about dance and movement, yoga and travel.

My approach to teaching is holistic: there are no levels, because each person carries their own story in the body. Everyone has the opportunity to get to know themselves by welcoming what arises—without judgment.
I have completed a comprehensive four-year diploma in Yoga from the Shakti Institute in Milan, which provided in-depth training in classical and modern yoga practices. I also completed three year Ayurveda diploma from the Ayurveda Institute of Florence in panchakarma and massage therapy.
To me, yoga is a journey inward and outward, a path toward oneself and toward others, where the practitioner continuously returns to themselves—again and again, more deeply each time.
I am Luiza – a woman who believes that aging is optional when we move with purpose, breathe with awareness, and live with passion. Yoga is my alchemy of grace and strength.
I came to yoga not early, but fully — and at 46, I move, teach, and live in a way that defies age, proving that radiance is not a matter of years, but of how deeply we live in our bodies.
Born and educated in Lithuania, after studying languages and living in Greece for ten years, I eventually settled in Switzerland, beautiful St.Moritz, where I’ve called home for the past 13 years. My path into yoga began over two decades ago during my time in Greece, but it wasn’t until later, in Switzerland, that I felt the call to deepen my practice.
I completed my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in India, rooted in Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga. That journey led me later back to India for a Yoga Therapy Course, and later to Thailand, where I completed my 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training.
Having lived across cultures and learned eight languages, I see yoga as a universal language of presence, connection, and transformation. My teaching style blends the discipline and depth of traditional practice with a modern, intuitive, and embodied approach — where breath, alignment, and soul meet on the mat.
Join me in a practice that honors who you are now — and who you’re becoming.
Hi, I’m Jojo. I’m originally from Perú, now living full time in the beautiful St. Moritz. I’m a fully qualified yoga teacher certified with Yoga Life global in India and then with LYT Method based in the States, a yoga nidra certified guide through Attune to the Moon with Jana Roemer and sound bath facilitator which I acquired during my stay in Rishikesh and deepend the practice through my personal experience. With a big passion for fitness. I’m very passionate about movement and the power it has on our bodies and minds, that’s why I also specialized in functional movement, posture
through the LYT Method and strength training acquired teaching group classes atthe local gym in St.Moritz for almost three years. Currently completing a biomechanic course with Conor Harris.
The functional strength class at Mesa Yoga Studio is designed to enhance your yoga practice by improving stability, joint control and body awarness. It helps build balanced muscles engagement and helps to prevent injuries in your practice and daily life. A strong body leads to a clear mind. I love sharing my knowledge with others because I belive everyone deserves the right to good health and to feel happy with themselves inside and out.
