What is Yoga Nidra?
Yoga Nidra, translates to Yogic Sleep and it is a practice of deep rest and healing.
You lie down, close your eyes, and allow yourself to be guided inward. There is nothing to do, you only need the willingness to receive. This practice supports the nervous system, softens the body, and creates space for healing, clarity, manifesting, and inner connection.
Find a quiet comfortable place. Lie on a blanket or your mat. Get as comfortable as you can. Feel free to use bolsters, eye coverings, cushions, and plenty of blankets. Body temperature goes down during Yoga Nidra so make sure that you are warm enough.
Let the body be supported. Let the mind follow the voice.
And if you fall asleep, let that be part of the practice too.
